Have to share

I belong to many YAHOO groups. Most are either cross stitching or rabbit groups. But I also belong to some Freecycle groups. On these sites people post things they no longer want or need. These groups save a lot of stuff from going to the landfills. I personally have posted tons of stuff and I have got many great things. Carpet cleaner, chairs, clothes, cross stitch materials, rabbit cages, and even a rabbit, ETC. Well my newest win, as I like to say, (as they post and choose from the responses who gets the item), is an Ionic Breeze Quad ra by Sharper Image. I have wanted one of these for the longest time, due to my two son's having asthma. But could not afford one, they are not cheap.
You do not have to buy filters with this unit. And believe me filters can be expense too. I have always run air purifiers since my oldest was diagnosed at 4 months with asthma. My biggest problem came when they stop making filters for the purifier, I am running. Then you have to buy a new purifier.
So in a couple of days, I will let you know how it is working. I won it yesterday and I was so excited, I cleaned and started running it last night. So today, when I get home, I will dust and see how well it can keep up with the dust.
Our house is so dusty, we have ultra allergen filters, on the furnace and on all the vents. And still have to dust every other day. The house gets vacuumed daily too. I think it is because of all the new construction in our area.
