Stone received his Academic Letter award tonight. This was a very proud moment.
I, sometimes, think I push him to hard to get good grades. He knows he can not bring home anything below a B. But I have to remind myself that he is completely capable of getting straight A's. And his teachers help remind me of this.
Stone had also received the President's Award for Educaional Excellence in fifth grade for carrying a GPA of 3.5 or high for fourth and fifth grade. He had finished fifth grade with a 3.8. Which he received a pin for.

School has been to easy for him in the past. He never had to study for spelling tests, or any other tests. And now, I think he suffers as the work is getting harder. I have to work on teaching him some study skills. If we can get him to study he would be a straight A student.
I just hope later he will thank me for pushing him to be his best.
Stone, we love you and are very proud of you.
