Well, now I am trying to catch up on all the emails from my xstitch groups. Sometimes it just overwhelms me, especially when I fall close to 400 emails behind in one group.
Our doe is at this point doing OK. She is eating and drinking. And appears to be acting as normal. I will continue to watch her. I could not feel anymore babies in her and she has not passed any. So hopefully, we are past the worst. She really is a sweet girl, putting up with me poking and prodding. Today I will probably clean out the nest she made. It was so sad those first days, as she kept going to the empty nest. As if she could not figure out why there were no babies there. I have miscarried a baby so I could feel for her.
The boys were upset when I give them the news about the birthing problem. They were all ready in bed the night it happened.
On more upbeat news, the three blacks babies are doing great. I will update a photo soon. Mom is actually calming down with this litter and is now letting me touch her. Before babies she would run and hide. They were one week old yesterday.
Not much stitching done in the last few days. Just did not feel up to it. So I am working on my competition piece trying to get it finished. I still need to do a graduation piece for my nephew and a birth sampler for a co worker whose baby was born two weeks ago.
Guess, I need to get off this computer and stitch.
