Ready for a good laugh?

OK, are you ready for a good laugh? As some of you know, I am a 911 dispatcher.

Well, I have to tell you all this story.

Tonight, I received a 911 call for................................a big insect outside this person apartment.
So, I say you called 911 for an insect outside your apartment. Not inside? The person was than told to call a non emergency line.

OK, so I also had two officers at the desk with me and now they are laughing about my call, and trying to talk on the radio.

Phone rings and guess who? So I tell one of the officer's the insect call is all his.

He answers, they describes their insect problem. He asks what kind of insect and is tell a big brown beetle like bug. He than asks if it has teeth. Now, at this point the other officer and I are rolling on the floor laughing. He proceeds to tell the subject the bug is not poisonous and it will go on its own. Person hangs up not happy we will not come and remove it for them.

Now, we are laughing so hard. Guess who calls back?

Subject would like an officer to come and help remove the bug. Again person is advised, we will not. I advise subject to use a broom.

OK people, we live in Michigan. There are no threatening insects in Michigan. Except the brown recluse and it will not kill you. Secondly, the outside is the insect habitat. I will not remove an insect from the outside. What do you want it inside? Thirdly, call the bug guy not the police, and definitely this is not a 911 emergency.
