Can't believe it has been that long since my last post. I guess my days are just getting away from me.
I have several new finishes, in my Cross Stitch 2007 folder. First, is the Birth sampler for our Grandson Dakota. Then I have finished a bunch of rabbit designs. This one is my favorite.
I was trying to sell them to help the kids with money for their Mini Rex rabbits they want. So I had these at the MSU rabbit show. Unfortunely, non sold.
Oh well they will have to wait a little while long on the Mini Rex's. To tell you the turth they can not make up their minds. Keep the dwarf's or get mini rex's. So, I told them we could two rex's, one doe and one buck and kind some of the dwarf's.
Show results: We registered nine for the show. But two got disqualified on my error. But doe's down instead of bucks. Guess getting up at 4am scambled my brain. We had one first place(Jr. Blk doe), and three third place finishes. Not bad, as this is a large show. Most of the classes had six or more rabbits entered. There was also a large horse show going on in the same building. Boys enjoyed going and watching them, while they were waiting for the youth show. Same judge for the open and youth. Open went first.
We stayed home for Thanksgiving this year. And Dan and I cooked. The kids are always upset on the years we stay home. They love going to Grandma's and playing with their cousin's. But Dan likes to stay home and my compromise was trading off years.
Went shopping with my mom, aunt, sister and DEVIN on Black Friday. It was crazy. We were not trying for any of the big deals. We usually go on the Saturday after, but the rabbit show was that day. So they changed days for me. PET PEEVE: when shopping on the busiest shopping day, do not bring your full/jumbo size stroller. And If you do, do not go into a store with very limited aisle ways. I am sorry but I have always taken a child shopping with me. And if I had to take a full stroller it was left outside the doors of the shop. Better yet, buy an umbrella stroller.
Devin has always gone shopping with me. Since he was born. Of course, now it is his choice to go. This is one day, Devin looks forward too. Dan told me that Devin could stay home and he would take them to the movies. My reply, Devin would take shopping over the movies, LOL.
Guess that's it for now.
