Hope everyone had a good Easter weekend.
Not much happening on the stitching front, as I had got sick again. Is this winter over with yet?
We went to the Mason Double rabbit show on Saturday and the boys did well. I will post their results on their site soon. WWW.freewebs.com/brothersrabbitry
On Sunday, Devin and I went and picked up our new Chocolate Otter buck, no photos yet. Well, when we got back, the girls were finally having their babies. We had two due, one was due on Thursday and the second was due on Saturday. So here, I was hoping we were going to get some Easter bunnies. So now the bad news... Both mom's delivered dead babies. UGH. The mom that was due on Thursday delivered one very large baby, four inches long. You can see the photo of it HERE if you like. You will be able to see the size difference as there is a photo of a normal baby and a peanut(double dwarf gene). These will never survive as it takes to long for the mom to deliver. I am really shocked she delivered this one without problems, as we have had to help some others. The second mom delivered four babies. All I can guess is the first baby got held up and so we lost everyone behind it. UGH!!!!!!!
I feel bad for the first mom as she is having a hard time understanding she has no babies. The second one seems to be clueless. We will rebreed on Friday.
We still have one mom due on the 31st. Hopefully we will get some babies then. But right now looks like we will not have babies to show until July if the next litters go well.
Guess that's it for now.
