Feel blessed today

Dan called me at 2pm, and said he was just in a accident. Told me he was alright but could not tell me what happened and to "just get here".

Well, when I got there I felt really blessed that he was alright. The truck is totaled, and a few trees are dead, but he is fine. A few bruises and scratches.

He had drifted to the side of the road, and when he tried to correct it, it wouldn't. He said, he felt like he was on ice. So, in the ditch and into three trees head on, at about 50 mph. Thank god for seat belts and him actually wearing them. The sheriff that came could not believe he wasn't injured either.

He is pissed, we just got the truck a week ago. But, I am blessed, he is alright. We can replace the truck.
