I could not resist taking a photo with this mornings check of the babies. Nice full, fat bellies, Mom is doing great. There is a lot of fur, half she pulled and the other half is from when she was molting. I brushed her and saved the fur for this. I have labeled them, so you can figure out where they are. One and two are the otters and three on its back, is the black.
We will be keeping all of them, barring any health issues. As no more breedings into August or September, not sure have to check the show dates for Fall convention. Believe it is in November.
Will be looking for another otter doe, as Ellis has been retired from breeding. Again she did not even drop milk. Not sure what the problem is, but I also do not know her age. I have not received her pedigree. Guess that doesn't matter now. And really can't complain we did get her free, with purchase of Pancake. Although, I haven't received his pedigree either. Will need his soon.
