Story about the kitten

I posted photos of him, but did not have time to tell his story.

We were out at my sister's on the fourth for the rehearsal dinner. Well, she lives in the country, so I guess someone decided that with all the cars parked there, it was a good place to drop him off. My brother witnessed a pickup stop and drop the little guy off.

We had a bunch of little kids there and they decided to catch him. Which was not very hard as he is very friendly. We soon noticed he was also very skinny. I guess they decided to stop feeding him also. I would age him to be about 3 months old and gorgeous.

I am very disgusted with people who do this. There are too many places that will take them in to leave them to fend for themselves.

So, I convinced Dan to bring him home with us, just until we could take him to the Humane society. I wanted to leave early Saturday before the wedding, because the Humane society was on the way. Dan decided we did not have time. So, I said, I will take him on Sunday before going to my other sister's home. Dan says, wait until Monday. On Sunday I go to the dollar store to buy some kitty supplies, as I was shopping on Monday. And could not take him. Well, he is still here and the kids and I love him to death. Not sure yet if he can stay. But hoping so. If not, I will find him a home.

He is to nice of kitten to go to the Humane society. Loves people (especially Dan), does great with the dog and bunnies. Nope, can not take the chance he will get put down.

Sitting on my lap now, purring away. I sure have missed having a cat.
