New bunnies are in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a little behind on posting. I have been working overtime at work. And we have been busy.

This post will be about the new arrivals.

Things happen in mysterious ways. We needed to get rid of the other bunnies, and I was really trying to sell them before we brought home the new ones. So hubby would not throw a fit. Well, we weren't having any bites on them. So the Saturday before we were to pick up our new stock, I had posted them again. We were to pick up the new guys on Sunday. Well, I finally had someone who wanted to buy them. I also had someone who wanted to buy a baby. So they all arranged to come on Sunday morning. This was perfect. We went and got the new ones and the sale of the others came in handy to pay for the new ones.

Still trying to teach the boys that this is not a profit making adventure. That any sales either go to new stock or the feed and bedding for the current stock. I think they are slowly getting this.

So far we have sold three of the babies. We are keeping one. Any still have three for sale. I know if you do the math we are still missing one. Will it ended up having bad teeth and so it was humanely put down. I look at it this way even as a pet bunny it would have been high maintenance with it's teeth issues and not many people would want to deal with it. So in the end it probably would have suffered at the hands of it's owners not taking it to the vets for it's needs.

It's a hard lesson for the boy's but they have to learn the way of life. Not all things are rosy. Better to end the suffering now, then to let the suffering go for a long time.

Well, check my photos for the new bunny photos. They are great. Thanks to Carol Carney and Glenda Huffman. Hopefully now we will get the boy's on the right track showing.

Carol's been a great help with teaching us what we are looking for. We have learned a lot from her. Thanks so much Carol.

I have decided to start our own 4H club, as we were not comfortable with the one we had started with. So look for so blogs on this whole new experience that I am to embark on.
