Mother's day/Drama update

Here is the photo. This is one inch wire. Sorry Marc, hubby would not go for the other photo.

Sadly, we lost that baby yesterday morning.

I would like to say thank you to Rabbit community. Yesterday, I posted that we needed a foster mom for the last remaining kit. And I had offers coming in from all over Michigan and Indiana. And advice on bottle feeding. As most know, I was already feeding and it was not working. So, the sole survivor, was dropped off last night to be fostered. Felt really weird not having to bottle feed yesterday. As they have taken up a lot of my time. Kind of feeling helpless right now.
Still waiting to hear if he made it through the night. THIS JUST IN: BABY MADE IT THROUGH THE NIGHT AND IS DOING GREAT. The momma he went to, had babies a week ago, and she was already fostering a few extras. She is a Californian and can handle a lot of babies. Praying it worked. The kids are really sad, and at first wanted to keep trying to bottle feed. But I explained, since we already lost two, maybe it's best chance was a foster mom. Also checked the wire on her cage. And the little bugger could not get out if he wanted too.

On to Mother's day: I got a GPS for mom's day. I have been wanting one forever. This is going to be great for rabbit shows. I usually map quest how to get there, but been than have no idea what is around the area. Not any more. The GPS will tell me everything in the area. Will be great for camping also.

Went to the hospital to see Dan's mom. She's is doing about the same since the trach. But it was nice seeing her awake. I had not been up to see her, as I had been fighting a cold. Finally gone, WOOOHOOO.

Then, the boy's and I, were off to see my mom. Dropped the baby off on the way. I brought dinner and we visited. It was a busy day.

Thanks everyone for the kind words and well wishes for the babies.
